How Much Does a Chicago Wedding Harpist Cost?
For a wedding ceremony, my current solo harp package is $450, which is a flat fee for the ceremony.
The package includes:
30 minutes of prelude music while guests arrive
Wedding party and bridal processional music
Ceremonial music
Recessional music
15–20 minutes of postlude music as guests depart
A private consultation to select your music
This means you're not simply hiring a musician for the few minutes of the processional. The harp provides live music throughout the guest arrival, ceremony, and departure, creating a cohesive musical experience from beginning to end.
What About Harp and Violin?
Some couples prefer the fuller sound of two instruments for their wedding ceremony.
My harp and violin duo wedding package is $750 and includes the same general ceremony structure: prelude music, processional music, ceremonial music, recessional music, postlude music, and a private music consultation.
A harp and violin duo can be especially beautiful for larger ceremonies or couples who want a richer, more orchestral sound.

How Much Does a Chicago Harpist Cost for Cocktail Hour?

Harp music works beautifully during a cocktail hour because it provides an elegant musical backdrop without overpowering conversation.
For solo harp, cocktail hour music is currently $175 per hour, with a 30-minute minimum, as an add-on to the Ceremony Package.
For a harp and violin duo, cocktail hour music is $300 per hour, also with a 30-minute minimum, as an add-on to the Duo Ceremony Package.
This can be a lovely option if your ceremony and cocktail hour take place at the same venue.

A ceremony musician typically needs to arrive at least one hour before the ceremony begins.
That's because the music often starts while guests are being seated, well before the processional.
A professional wedding package may therefore include substantially more playing time than the length of the ceremony itself.
Number of Musicians
Solo harp is a beautiful option on its own.
Adding violin creates a larger musical texture and can be especially effective for couples who want a more expansive sound.
Special Requests
One of the wonderful things about live harp music is the ability to personalize your selections.
Your favorite song doesn't necessarily have to be a traditional wedding song.
My repertoire includes classical music, romantic favorites, pop, rock, jazz, movie and television themes, Broadway selections, Beatles songs, Disney music, and contemporary artists. Special requests are also welcome.

I perform throughout Chicago, the North Shore, the western suburbs, and surrounding areas of Illinois.

What Songs Can a Chicago Wedding Harpist Play?
